HSUPA Wireless Data
Featuring advanced processing power and expanded memory, the Raven X
is optimized for high-speed cellular networks. The North American model
has a dual diversity antenna optimized for 850/1900 MHz, while the Europe/
Asia model is optimized for 850/2100 MHz, to provide improved performance
for HSUPA. In areas where HSUPA is not available the Raven X is backward
compatible to HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE and GPRS technologies.

EV-DO Wireless Data
Featuring advanced processing power and expanded memory, the Raven X is optimized for high-speed cellular networks. Leveraging high-speed EV-DO Revision A technology, the Sierra Wireless AirLink Raven X provides wide area wireless data access at speeds up to 3.1 Mbps downlink and 1.8 Mbps uplink. Users can expect average upload speeds of 300 - 500 Kbps, and download speeds of 450 Kbps - 1.4 Mbps. In areas where EV-DO Rev A is not available the Raven X is backward compatible to EV-DO Rev 0 and CDMA 1x technology.
